Welcome to Free JavaServer Faces Components
There are a lot of free JavaServer Faces component libraries, usually distributed as open source projects, functionally very advanced and profesionally designed, but often totally unknown to some java developers. The most difficult thing, especially for beginners, is to find the appropriate component library, their demo pages, documentations and installation guides. The main goal of this site is to collect the most of free JSF component libraries, especially open source projects, and offer all related links to official pages, demo pages, download pages, documentation and installation guides in one place. Since this project is in the beginning phase, there are currently only the most used component libraries. But of course, our tendency is to collect almost all JSF libraries, even those with specialised purposes. Java developers can also find here other useful links related to JSF, Java Enterprise Edition, web development etc. There are a couple of sections in this site, below is their description:
Components
Here you can find all related information and links about selected component library. Information contain description of the selected library, links to official page, download page, pages with demos and documentation pages.
Picture gallery
Picture gallery contains example pictures of some of the most used components like data tables, panels, menus, calendars etc. There are also some special components specific for the selected library. Developers can immediately see how some component gallery looks like and decide if it is appropriate for their web design.
Installation guides
This section's main purpose is to save developers the time needed to include some of the component libraries to their project. Using these installation guides developers don't need anymore to lose hours on searching the web and reading documentation just to try out some component library.

In this section you can find links on tutorials regarding JSF, Java EE, web development and links on free application servers and IDEs.
News
This section is reserved for news regarding JSF in general, news about new versions of component libraries and news about changes on this site, especially when new component library is included.
